Thank you for booking your appointment at L.A. Dog Grooming - Unit 1 Rufus Court, 103 Winchester Road, Chandler's Ford, SO53 2GG.
Please note we are cash only. Please make sure your dog has been to the toilet prior to their groom, for their comfort.
By attending an appointment you are agreeing to our terms & conditions below. PLEASE READ TO AVOID EXTRA FEES.
We are located next to Helen Whitehouse hairdressing, David’s Fish Bar, Domino’s etc. For parking there are spaces outside the shop, or a car park behind The Hampshire Kitchen Company (the last shop on the left of the row). If you need any directions just ask!

TERMS & CONDITIONS:
1 - PET HEALTH
To help us give your dog the best experience possible, we would like to ask you to identify any ongoing or new health conditions at point of drop off. This is so L.A. Dog Grooming can make your dog as comfortable as possible.
L.A. Dog Grooming reserves the right to refuse service for certain health conditions, for example if they have an open wound.
Please let us know if there is a chance that your dog is in season or pregnant as L.A. Dog Grooming is unable to groom dogs under this condition for Penny's welfare, if your dog arrives to the salon in season you will incur a missed appointment fee. For dogs that have been in season they need to wait 2 weeks after the bleeding has stopped, as this is the period where they are ready to mate and still in season.
2 - MATTING
At L.A. Dog Grooming we do not untangle matted hair on pets as it can cause them discomfort and pain. Your pet's happiness and welfare is of utmost importance to us. We can take you through the most comfortable options for your pet during check in.
L.A. Dog Grooming accepts no responsibility for any vet fees if health issues (such as skin sores) that are exposed when clipping off a matted coat. Pet owners will be required to sign a matting form if the dogs coat is severely matted.
Pet owners may incur an additional charge of £6-11 for heavy matting.
3 - CANCELLATIONS
Please note we require 24 hours notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. This is so we have enough time to offer the appointment time to another dog needing our services. If an appointment is missed, we will require a £20 non refundable deposit for your next appointment, and 48 hours notice will need to be given for a reschedule, to keep the deposit.
4 - PARASITES
L.A. Dog Grooming reserves the right to decline to groom dogs with fleas. Please treat your dog 48 hours before bringing them into the salon for the welfare of your dog and other dogs in our salon. If your dog is found to have fleas at drop off we may have to reschedule your appointment. If your dog is found to have fleas once being groomed, the groom will be completed (flea shampoo used) however the pet owner will be charged £15 for the time and cost of disinfecting the salon.
L.A. Dog Grooming will remove ticks free of charge if found during the groom.
5 - VET CARE
We endeavour to provide the best service possible, however in the rare case of an accident, the pet owner agrees for L.A. Dog Grooming to transport their dog to the nearest vet for treatment if required. The pet owner also agrees to pay any and all fees that are not covered by our insurance (pre existing conditions etc).
6 - PAYMENT
Cash payment is required upon drop off or collection of the pet. We apologise payment cannot be made by card or cheque. Payment cannot be made at a later date.
7 - LATE PICK UP
We understand if you are running late, pet owners will have up to 45 minutes to pick up their pet after the agreed collection time. Thereafter, the pet owner will be charged £10 per 30 minutes.
8 - PHOTOS
We are grateful you have chosen us to groom your dog and we are proud to show off our skills. L.A. Dog Grooming will sometimes use photos of your dog on our website or social media outlets etc. If you do not wish for your dog to be photographed please notify us at drop off.
9 - SLANDER
Under the malicious communications act 1998 section 1, L.A. Dog Grooming will not accept or tolerate any slander, malicious falsehood or defamation via social media outlets relating to a groom due to coats that have not been maintained at home (matted coat), or miscommunication. If you are unhappy, please contact us immediately and we will try our best to resolve the issue.
